Educational Technology & Media Services

The Educational Technology & Media Services unit has four functional areas.

  • The Instructional Technologies area works with faculty and staff to support teaching and learning through our eLearning suite of tools at UNI. It includes the administration of our eLearning systems and offers professional development opportunities through technology workshops as well as one-on-one consultations.
  • The Learning Technologies area works with classroom technology assessments, installations and support.
  • The Media Services area support the audio/video needs of the University for live events, audio/video editing, and production level media production.
  • The Educational Projects area works with external groups and grants to interact with educators around the state helping to integrate educational technology into classroom teaching and learning, focusing on the STEM classroom. This area also provides leadership to The WayUp Conference, the EPIC Challenge, and STEM initiatives.
