The mission of the IT Service Desk is to provide the University's students, faculty, staff, and visitors with a centralized point of contact for all supported products and services.
The IT Service Desk helps the campus community with:
- Account access, including passphrase resets and DUO
- Google Suite, such as email and email and UNI's Alumni domain
- Troubleshooting network connectivity
- Personal device support for current UNI students, such as virus/malware removal, data recovery, and device troubleshooting
Location and Staffing
Assistance can be requested by using UNI's Service Hub, messages left by calling (319) 273-5555, submitted electronically, or emails sent to firstname.lastname@example.org (please note CatID access such as passphrase resets can only be handled by phone). The Service Desk is located in Room 36 of the ITTC (Innovative Teaching and Technology Center) just north of Rod Library and welcomes walk-in traffic.

Note: Academic Break Hours are used during scheduled breaks (i.e. Thanksgiving, Winter Break, Spring Break, etc.). Summer hours are started after the end of the Spring semester and continue until the beginning of the Fall semester. The Service Desk is closed during University Holidays.
