The Network & Infrastructure Services unit is made up of four teams:
- Communications Infrastructure & Field Service: Installs, maintains, and repairs the inter and intra-building communications infrastructure for the campus wired, wireless, and voice network.
- Network Engineering & Voice: Designs, operates and maintains core voice and data services for the university community. This includes wired and wireless networking, firewall management, VPN, and voice systems. This team also maintains secure connectivity to remote physical locations.
- Infrastructure Systems: Data center management, web hosting, content management systems, enterprise storage, server virtualization, remote desktop access, system monitoring, enterprise backup/disaster recovery, virtual desktops, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Google G Suite management.
- Specialized Systems: Provides server and application management services for departments for hundreds of non-enterprise applications. Also involved in surveillance and electronic access systems for campus.
