The Network & Infrastructure Services unit is made up of four teams:
- Communications Infrastructure & Field Service: Installs, maintains, and repairs the inter and intra-building communications infrastructure for the campus wired, wireless, and voice network.
- Network Engineering: Designs, operates and maintains core voice and data services for the university community. This includes wired and wireless networking, firewall management, VPN, and voice systems. This team also maintains secure connectivity to remote physical locations.
- Systems Administration/Programming: Data center management, web hosting, content management systems, enterprise storage, server virtualization, remote desktop access, system monitoring, enterprise backup/disaster recovery, virtual desktops, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Google G Suite management.
- Test Scoring Services: Provides test scoring services for faculty utilizing traditional bubble sheet testing. Utilizes Scantron equipment to process batches of tests and delivers pdf reports after running statistical analysis on the results. This team is also responsible for the main inbound campus call operations.
