  My Roles     The User Roles area contains all your current roles. The highlighted roles are the one generated automatically. By left clicking on any of the column headings you can also sort by ascending or descending order.   In this case the three E-Business roles are automatically generated. Changing your voicemail system from the default greeting Problem: After the phone has been initialized the default greeting plays when people call. The following message is heard:“You have reached the University of Northern Iowa. Please leave a message at the tone or press 0 for operator assistance. Our voicemail system has recently changed and this mailbox is not yet been personalized. There are various kinds of voicemail greeting options in the new UNI Voicemail system. When you initialize your voicemail box for the first time, the system has you set up two of these greetings by default, your Name Greeting and your External Personal Greeting. You can access your greetings via phone or via the UNI voicemail web portal. To access them via the web portal, navigate to https://voicemail.uni.edu in your web browser and sign in. How to record your greetings   To set up your greeting from off campus you dial (319) 273-7600.  You will enter your mailbox number and password when prompted. From on campus dial 3-7600. If at your extension, enter your password when prompted.  At another extension when prompted to enter your password press the "*" and enter your mailbox number followed by your password. How to find your Mailbox Number in UNI Voicemail This will be your extension number 3xxxx. If you have your number masked you have a different mailbox number.  To find this number: First you must be on a computer that has web access. How to change your UNI voicemail header playback function.   First you must be on a computer that has web access. Go to https://voicemail.uni.edu and log in, you will see the following options: Clicking the "Web Access" option will either log you in automatically or take you your Google account sign in page. Enter your UNI email address and proceed through the UNI authentication until you are directed back to your voicemail dashboard. Under the Settings left click on ‘Calls’ panel. How to reset your UNI voicemail password.   First you must be on a computer that has web access. Go to the following URL https://voicemail.uni.edu the following should come up. Click on the Password Reset panel. The following screen will appear. Fill in the information. Your university email. Check the ‘Reset Voicemail Password’ button and type the characters that show. Left click the ‘Send a Request’ button. Login in to your email account and you will have an email as shown. Open the email. Click the link and it will allow you to change your password.
