Position Description:
The IT Service Desk's Technicians provide additional technical assistance for personal devices and network troubleshooting.
Common tasks:
- Virus removal
- Reformatting operating systems
- Data backup
- Application and system troubleshooting
- Diagnosing internet connections for students living on-campus (ResNet) or the UNI network
Reports to: Service Desk staff
Qualifications:
- Strong technical skills, such as understanding operating systems (Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android) and networking (TCP/IP, wireless technology)
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Good communication skills
Starting Pay: $8.25/hour
Additional pay increases each semester and opportunity to advance.
