Blackboard Ultra Updates: May 2026

Our iteration of Blackboard was updated to v4000.15 on 5/7/2026

Here is a rundown of some of the updates that were applied 

• Blackboard Ultra Updates: May 2026

  • White space improvements in Documents
  • Improved screen reader experience in Document view mode
  • Rebuilding the Groups management experience for instructors (Available May 18, 2026)
  • Make second due date for Discussions visible in Gradebook
  • Visualize release conditions inherited by items in learning modules and folders
  • Carry group filter into Flexible Grading

Some of these improvements were made possible through the Anthology Idea Exchange.  The Idea exchange allows you to share, like, vote, and comment on your favorite ideas for improving Blackboard.
