Blackboard Ultra Updates January 2026

Our iteration of Blackboard was updated to v4000.6.0 on 1/8/2026 at  3:23am.

Here is a rundown of some of the updates that were applied.

• January 2026
  • Navigate courses and tools faster with refreshed user interface
  • Usability improvements for Document Block Layout
  • Expanded question options for true/false
  • Enhanced multiple choice and multiple answer workflow
  • View activity log for Automations
  • Improved Automation placement on Course Content page

Some of these improvements were made possible through the Anthology Idea Exchange.  The Idea exchange allows you to share, like, vote, and comment on your favorite ideas for improving Blackboard.
