Spotlight on STEM Day

The annual Spotlight on STEM day is Thursday, February 23, 2012.  The focus of the Spotlight Day is on science and math projects that integrate technology in the PreK-12 curriculum.  The Spotlight Gallery (table displays) will be open from 9:30 - 11:30 am.   There will be Spotlight Presentations (20 min presentations, every 30 min) from 1:30 - 3:30 pm.   This is a great opportunity to hear about authentic applications of science and math in PreK-12 classrooms and to talk with teachers and students to get their perspective of learning with hands-on, inquir

Digital Learning Day Brown Bag Lunch Session

The Office of Continuing and Distance Education and the ITS Educational Technology department are hosting a Brown Bag Lunch session 11:30am-1:30pm in ITTC 134 on Wednesday, February 1 for Digital Learning Day. Please bring your own lunch. Brownies will be provided.

This event will showcase innovative uses of digital technologies, mobile learning and other new technologies used to enhance teaching and learning. No registration required.

One-to-One Computing for Increased Learning Webinar

New Drupal Web Services Office

ITS Educational Technology and University Relations (UR) have combined resources to create a one-stop Drupal Web development office. Drupal developers from both offices are now housed in 103 East Bartlett. ITS Educational Technology developers will focus on creating departmental and college websites in Drupal, while UR staff will maintain the main university website and other primary sites, such as the calendar and map. Developers from both units will work together to create standardized Drupal practices and provide support for other Drupal developers on campus. Faculty Technology Integration Week Scheduled for January 3-6

Faculty, mark your calendar for special educational technology workshops, with an emphasis on integration strategies, scheduled for January 3-6. Anticipated topics include Bb Learn 9, lecture capture, webinar technology, video conferencing, mobile learning, Google tools and more. Fall 2011 Drupal Office Hours
