Team Drive Request Options
Option 1: Departmental Team Drive
A Team Drive that corresponds to your department's official Google Group (ex: Admissions-l). Membership is controlled by the Google group, and members are added/removed automatically as your department personnel change.
These should be requested by the department head
A maximum of 1 per department can be created.
Option 2: Sub-Departmental Team Drive
A Team Drive for a sub-set of users (team) within your official department. The team will be responsible for the management of the permissions and who has access.
These should be requested by the department head.
Option 3: Other / Ad-hoc
A Team Drive for non-departmental use. This includes all other requests and are granted on a case-by-case basis. The requestor will be given full access initially and be responsible for managing sharing.

Team Drives for student organizations must be requested by the student org advisor or full time UNI employee.

How do I move files/folders into a Team Drive?

How do I access Team Drive from my mobile device?
Currently Team Drive is only available via the drive.google.com web interface. You can browse to drive.google.com via your mobile device's web browser to view your Team Drive contents. If you need to edit files, your mobile device will automatically launch the corresponding mobile app (Google Docs, Spreadsheets, etc).
How are Team Drive permissions managed?
