Desktop Managers Group
The desktop managers group is a cross-divisional committee that meets once a month to discuss desktop management issues across the University. Membership is limited to those who directly manage a number of desktops across their college, department, or division. Meetings typically last an hour and a half where issues and topics are discussed from best practice on print management and group policy to deploying operating system images and scripting. This group reports back on its activities to the larger IT Forum group on a regular basis.
