Blackboard Ultra Updates: June 2026

Our iteration of Blackboard was updated to v4000.17 on 6/4/2026 at 4:26am. 

Here is a rundown of some of the updates that were applied. 

• Blackboard Ultra Updates: June 2026 
  • Provide answer-level feedback for multiple choice and multiple answer questions
  • Lock answer options in a fixed position for multiple choice and multiple answer questions
  • Improved rubric usability when adding or adjusting grades
  • Enhance stability and usability of commenting tools (June 12)
  • Track Announcement engagement by student
  • Trigger Feedback Reminder automations when feedback is posted

Some of these improvements were made possible through the Anthology Idea Exchange.  The Idea exchange allows you to share, like, vote, and comment on your favorite ideas for improving Blackboard.
