Blackboard Ultra Updates February 2026

Our iteration of Blackboard was updated to v4000.8.0 on 2/5/2026.

Here is a rundown of some of the updates that were applied.

  • Stack blocks vertically in Documents
  • Enhanced achievement usability
  • Improved accessibility for custom badge options
  • Use automations to remind students to check their feedback

Some of these improvements were made possible through the Anthology Idea Exchange.  The Idea exchange allows you to share, like, vote, and comment on your favorite ideas for improving Blackboard.
