Job Description - Consulting Center Lead Consultant (CCC)
Answers the Computer Consulting Center telephone and serves as an over the counter consultant for the CCC in User Services. Serves as a resource of information about ITS services, functions, and personnel. Works with and assists the public through telephone calls, walk-ins, and the departmental email account. Assists with training on ITS supported software and answer questions about supported programs. Assists with maintaining electronic records of all calls, emails, and walk-in customers. Assists with training CCC student employees to perform virus/malware removal of customer's computers. Assists with maintaining and promotion of all approved Social Media presence for the Consulting Center.
As Lead Student Consultant this position will also assist in the training of CCC student employees in the areas of computer repair to include data recovery, virus/malware removal, and format/reinstall operating systems. This position will also have administrative access to any social media presence of the CCC for updating, posting, general maintenance and will coordinate with support staff in these areas.

Starting Pay $ 8.40
2 Consecutive previous semesters as an ITS CCC Consultant or equivalent experience
