Outage - CatID Authentication

Information Technology believes that the situation with CatID authentication has been resolved at this time. If you experience any continuing issues:

  • Try closing your web browser fully and reopening it fresh.
  • If that doesn't work, try deleting your browsing history/data/cache for the past 24 hours.
  • If you still experience issues, please contact the IT Service desk via Service Hub ticket or by phone at (319) 273-5555

Information Technology is aware of an active campus-wide outage affecting our CatID authentication services. This will prevent you from logging into most services that require CatID authentication. Some examples may include:

  • Blackboard eLearning
  • UNI Works
  • MyUNIverse
  • Google Workspace applications
  • Zoom
  • Other services (the list is not exhaustive)

IT is aware of the issue and is actively working to correct it.
